RFSOLUTION 81-19
OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
INITIATING ANNEXATION PROCEEDINGS FOR THE
ARBOR COMMERCIAL ANNEXATION
WHEREAS, heretofore a written petition, together with four prints of
an annexation map, was filed with the City Clerk requesting the annexation
of certain property more particularly described as situate in the County of
Larimer, State of Colorado, to-wit
A tract of land situate in the Northeast Quarter of
Section 2, Township 6 North, Range 69 West of the Sixth
Principal Meridian, Larimer County, Colorado, which F
considering the North line of said Section 2 , as
bearing North 89 55' E and with all bearings contained
herein relative thereto, begins at a point on the said
North line which bears S 89'55' West 50 20 feet from
the Northeast corner of said Section 2 and runs thence
along the West R 0 W line of U S Highway 287 , S
00044'39" W 994 77 feet, thence N 88`52' W 1108 02 feet
to a point on the west R 0 W line of the Colorado and
Southern Railroad, thence alonq said West line N 00 53" E
E 971 28 feet to a point on the North line of said
Section 2, thence along said North line, N 89*55' E
149 41 feet, thence N 00'48' E 30 00 feet, thence N
89'55' E 436 88 feet, thence S 00*48' W 30 00 feet to a
point on the North line of said Section 2, thence along
said North line, N 89*55' E 519 46 feet to the point of
beginning, containing 25 278 acres , more or less
to the City of Fort Collins, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to initiate annexation proceedings
in accordance with law
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS
Section 1 That the City Council hereby finds and dete►mines that
the annexation petition and accompanying map are in substantial compliance
with Section 31-12-107 , Colorado Revised Statutes , 1973, as amended
Section 2 That April 21, 1981 , at the hour of 5 30 P M , or as
soon thereafter as the matter may come on for hearing, in the Council
Chambers of the City of Fort Collins, is hereby set as the date, time and
place where the City Council will hold a hearing to determine if the
proposed annexation complies with the provisions of Sections 31-12-104
and 105, Colorado Revised Statutes, 1973, as amended, or such parts thereof
as may be required

NOTICE
TO ALL PERSONS INTERESTED
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the City Council of the City of Fort Collins
has adopted a Resolution initiating annexation proceedings for the Arbor
Commercial Annexation, said annexation being more particularly described
in said Resolution, a copy of which precedes this Notice
That on April 21, 1981, at the hour of 5 30 P M , or as soon there-
after as the matter may come on for hearing before the City Council in
the Council Chambers of the City Hall of the City of Fort Collins at 300
Laporte Avenue, Fort Collins , Colorado, the City Council will hold a
hearing upon the annexation petition for the purpose of determining and
finding whether the property proposed to be annexed meets the applicable
requirements of Colorado law and is considered eligible for annexation At
such hearing, any person living within the area proposed to be annexed, and
any landowner of lands therein, and any resident of the City of Fort
Collins, and all other interested persons, may appear and present such
evidence as they may desire
