OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
AUThOPIZING THE CITY TO ENTEP INTO AN IilTER-
GOVERNhENTAL AGREEMENT
WHEREAS, the City of Fort Collins desires to sponsor a regional tour
of the Claude Yipnis Prime Theatre at a cost of Nineteen Thousand Dollars
($19,000 00), and
WHEREAS, the National Endowmient for the Arts, a non-profit organiza-
tion designed to promote the arts, has provided a grant to the City of Fort
Collins in the amount of Five Thousand Seven Hundred Dollars (b5,700 00) to
offset the cost of the tour of the Claude lipnis Mime Threatre, and
WNERENS, chile the City of Fort Collins will be the sponsor of the
tour and thus responsible for the payment to the Theatre, performances have
also been scneduled for the Cities of Arvada, Pueblo, Greeley and Cheyenne,
and each of those cities, by this Agreerent, is obligating itself to pay to
the City of Fort Collins the sum of Two Thousand Three Hundred Dollars
(32,300 00) pea performance scheduled in each City Since the City of
Arvada has scheduled tvo nerforrilances, it snall be obligated to pay the sum
of Four Thousand Six hundred Dollars ($4,600 00) , and
WHEREAS, in the considered opinion of the Councils of the Cities of
Fort Collins, Arvada, Pueblo, Greeley and Cheyenne, it is in the best
interest of said cities in the advancement of the performing arts that this
Agreement be entered into
NOW, THEPEFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FOPT

to enter into, an Interoovernmental Agreement with the Cities of Arvada,
Pueblo, Greeley and Cheyenne, Wyoming for the purpose of snaring the cost
of a sponsorship for the Claude Kipnis Mime Theatre
