OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
ESTABLISHING A CITIZEN PARTICIPATION AND
INFORMATION PROGRAM RELATING TO THE CITY'S
STORM DRAINAGE PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Fort Collins has enacted a Storm
Drainage Ordinance involving the establishment and collection of storm
drainage fees for operation , maintenance and capital improvements of
the City's storm drainage system, and
WHEREAS, as a result of the establishment of the aforesaid Storm
Drainage Ordinance, the City's storm drainage system will become more
comprehensive in nature and will have an effect on all citizens of the
City, and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Fort Collins has determined that
it is necessary and desirable that the citizens of the City of Fort Collins
receive good and sufficient information relating to the establishment,
administration and operation of the City's storm drainage program, and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Fort Collins has determined that
it is in the best interests of the citizens of the City that the staff be
instructed to conduct a comprehensive storm drainage public information
program for the purpose of dissemination of such information
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that the staff of the City establish and present, for the education
and information of the populus, a storm drainage public information pro-
gram, detailing, in a comprehensive manner, the necessary elements of the
City's storm drainage program
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of the City of
Fort Collins held this 15th day of December , 1981
