WITH LARIMER COUNTY, COLORADO, FOR THE
PURPOSE OF CREATIP,G THE FORT COLLINS
URBAN GROWTH PREA AND PROVIDING FOR
COORDINATED PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT
ACTIVITIES IIThIII THE FORT COLLINS AREA
WHEREAS, heretofore by Resolution No 80-18, the Council of the City
of Fort Collins did authorize the City to enter into an intergovernmental
agreement with Larimer County, Colorado, for the purpose of creating the
Fort Collins Urban Growth Area and providing for coordinated planning and
development activities within the Fort Collins area, and
WHEREAS, the attached plan and regulations 4ere adopted by the Larimer
County Commissioners on April 29, 1980, and
WHEREAS, after continued negotiations and discussions, the County and
the City have reached agreement as to the specific content of the proposed
intergovernmental agreement
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS as follows
Section 1 That that certain intergoverrrniental agreement, a true copy
of which is attached hereto be, and the same hereby is, approved
Section 2 That the Mayor of the City of Fort Collins be, ang she
hereby is, authorized and airected to enter into said agreement on behalf
of the City of Fort Collins
