OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
AUTHORIZING THE CITY TO ENTER INTO AN INTER-
GOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT
WHEREAS, the City of Arvada is sponsoring a regional tour of the Ohio
Ballet at a cost of Eighteen Thousand Eight Hundred Dollars ($18,800) ,
and
WHEREAS, the National Endowment for the Arts, a non-profit organiza-
tion designed to promote the arts, will provide a grant to the City of
Arvada in the amount of Five Thousand Six Hundred and Forty Dollars
($5,640) to offset the cost of the tour of the Ohio Ballet, and
WHEREAS, while the City of Arvada will be the sponsor of the tour and
thus responsible for the payment to the Ohio Ballet, a performance has also
been scheduled for the Lincoln Community Center in the City of Fort
Collins, and that entity, by said Intergovernmental Agreement, is obligat-
ing itself to pay to the City of Arvada the sum of Three Thousand Two
Hundred and Ninety Dollars ($3,290) , and
WHEREAS, in the considered opinion of the Council of the City of Fort
Collins, it is in the best interest of the City in the advancement of the
performing arts that this Agreement be entered into
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that the City Manager be, and he hereby is, authorized and directed
to enter into an Intergovernmental Agreement with the City of Arvada for
the purpose of sharing the cost of sponsoring a tour of the Ohio Ballet
