HomeMy WebLinkAbout1980-103-08/19/1980-AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A QUIT CLAIM DEED FOR THE BENEFIT OF MEDEMA HOMES RESOLUTION 80-103 OF THE COUNTCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A QUIT CLAIM DEED FOR THE BENEFIT OF MEDEMA HOMES WHEREAS, Section 26-2 of the Code of the City of Fort Collins provides that before any property is alienated by the City, a resolution shall be adopted by the City Council finding that such property is not used, nor intended to be used for municipal purposes and that it is for the best interests of the City of Fort Collins that the same be sold, and WHEREAS, there presently exists a discrepancy between the platted boundary of Golden Meadows Subdivision 3rd Filing and the fence which marks the existing boundary of the subdivision as it borders the Collindale Golf Course, more particularly described below, and WHEREAS, the disputed parcel of land is not used nor intended to be used for municipal purposes, and WHEREAS, it would be in the best interest of the people of the City of Fort Collins to establish a common and accurate boundary NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS that the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a quit claim deed for the following described property, to-wit Lots 1 , 8, 99 10, 119 12 and 13 in Block 5, Lots 4 and 5 in Block 4, Lots 4 and 5 in Block 3, Lots 4 and 5 in Block 2, and Lot 4 in Block 1 , Golden Measdows 3rd Filing, a subdivison of the City of Fort Collins, Colorado, according to the recorded plat thereof thereby establishing the boundary between the respective properties as the north line of the Golden Meadows 3rd Filing, as platted Passed and adopted at a regularineeti g of the Council of he ity of Fort Collins held this 19tt, day of s 1980 May ATTEST Qlr�d.A. ity C erk
