OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
APPROVING THE FIRE PROTECTION AND EMERGENCY
SERVICES MASTER PLAN OF THE POUDRE FIRE AUTHORITY
WHEREAS, the Poudre Fire Authority has developed a Fire Protection and
Emergency Services Master Plan over a two-year period, and
WHEREAS, the Master Plan provides for increased protection of the
public health, safety and welfare, and
WHEREAS, on August 5, 1981 , the Board of the Poudre Fire Authority
conducted a public hearing concerning the Master Plan, and
WHEREAS, on December 22, 1981 , the Board of the Poudre Fire Authority
recommended that the Council approve the Master Plan, except for any
provisions relating to the retroactive sprinkling of high rise buildings
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS that the
Fire Protection and Emergency Services Master Plan, with the exception of
those provisions relating to retroactive sprinkling of high rise buildings,
as developed by the Poudre Fire Authority and as recommended for approval
by the Board of the Poudre Fire Authority be, and the same hereby is,
approved and adopted
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of the City of
Fort Collins held this 5th day of January, 1982
