OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT
WITH CARE-A-VAN TO PROVIDE TRANSPORTATION
SERVICES TO THE CITY
WHEREAS, the City, in the past, has entered into an agreement with the
Poudre Thompson Transportation Corps, Inc dba Care-A-Van, to provide
transportation services within Fort Collins, and
WHEREAS, Care-A-Van is eligible for federal matching funds for use in
the conduct of their services, and
WHEREAS, in consideration of the services Provided by Care-A-Van, the
City desires to make reimbursement to Care-A-Van Section 5 and Section 18
federal monies in an anticipated amount of $58,364 and, in addition, as
payment for handicapped services, reimburse Care-A-Van in the sum of $875
per month, and
WHEREAS , the Council of the City of Fort Collins has determined
that the said agreement is in the best interests of the citizens of the
City
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that the City Manager be, and he hereby is, authorized to enter
into an agreement with the Poudre Thompson Transportation Corps, Inc (dba
Care-A-Van) for the purpose of providing transportation services within the
City of Fort Collins for the calendar year 1982 and providing for payment
to Care-A-Van for said services in the sum of $875 per month (for a total
of $10,500) plus a reimbursement of Section 5 and Section 18 federal funds
in an anticipated amount of $58,364 and upon such other specific terms and
conditions as may be negotiated between Care-A-Van and the City Adminis-
tration
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of the City of
Fort Collins this 20th day of April , 1982
