OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
NAMING THE FOSSIL CREEK COMMUNITY PARK
WHEREAS, the City of Fort Collins has acquired a community park site
located around Portner Reservoir, and
WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board has reviewed sug-
gested names for said new park, and
WHEREAS, the recommendation of the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board
to the City Council is that said new park be named Fossil Creek Community
Park , and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Fort Collins desires to select a
name for said park
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that the new south community park located around Portner Reservoir
be named Fossil Creek Community Park
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of the City of
Fort Collins held this 4th day of May, A D 1982
