OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF REAL PROPERTY
WHEREAS, the City is the owner of the east sixty (60) feet of Lot 9,
Block 8, Scott Sherwood Subdivision (also known as 1227 West Olive Street) ,
and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that such property is not used nor
intended to be used for municipal purposes, nor secured for the purpose of
being used for municipal purposes, and that it is for the best interests of
the City of Fort Collins that the same be sold, and
WHEREAS, the appraised value of said property is in the sum of $6,000,
and
WHEREAS, Jerry Nix has presented an offer to the City for the purchase
of said property at the appraised value and the Council has determined that
said property should be sold to Jerry Nix for the sum of $6,000
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that the east sixty (60) feet of Lot 9, Block 8, Scott Sherwood
Subdivision (1227 West Olive Street) be conveyed by the City to Jerry Nix
pursuant to that agreement of sale and purchase dated the 18th day of
May, 1982, for the purchase price of $6,000 00, and that the Mayor and City
Clerk shall be authorized to execute such deeds as may be necessary to
accomplish said conveyance
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of the City of
Fort Collins held this 18th day of May, A D 1982
