OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
AUTHORIZING THE CITY TO ENTER INTO A LEASE
AGREEMENT FOR SPACE IN THAT CERTAIN BUILDING
KNOWN AS THE AVERY HOUSE
WHEREAS, in the past, the City of Fort Collins has leased space in
the Avery House to private businesses, and
WHEREAS, one of the lessees under said lease agreements is Eleanor
Gale of the "Fort Collins Magazine", and
WHEREAS, the time is now appropriate for the renegotiation of the
most recent of said leases with Eleanor Gale, and s
WHEREAS, it is proper that the City of Fort Collins continue to lease
space in the Avery House to private businesses at such times and upon such
terms and conditions as are in the best interests of the City of Fort
Collins
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that the City be authorized to enter into month-to-month and/or
longer term lease agreements with private businesses for office space to be
located in designated portions of the Avery House, said leases to be
negotiated with such persons, firms, partnerships, or corporations, and
upon such terms and conditions as shall be in the best interests of the
City of Fort Collins
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of the City
of Fort Collins held this 16th day of Spi4ember , 1980
