OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
CHANGING THE NAME OF THE LINCOLN COMMUNITY
CENTER GUILD TO THE LINCOLN CENTER LEAGUE
WHEREAS, the executive committee of the Lincoln Community Center
Guild, together with the Cultural Resources Board, has recommended that the
name of the Lincoln Community Center Guild be changed to the Lincoln Center
League, and
WHEREAS, the name change is recommended for the following reasons
1 The name Lincoln Center League better defines the
duties and responsibilities of said organization
2 The organization as it is presently named is not
easily distinguished from the Symphony Guild
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS AS FOLLOWS
Section 1 That that certain organization heretofore known as the
Lincoln Community Center Guild be, and the same hereby is, changed to the
Lincoln Center League
Section 2 That any reference made to the Lincoln Community Center
Guild within the bylaws as adopted by that organization be, and the same
hereby is, amended by changing the name of that organization to the Lincoln
Center League
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of the City of
Fort Collins held this 7th day of October 1980
