OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
ADOPTING RECOMMENDATIONS CONTAINED
WITHIN THE AIRPORT MASTER PLAN UPDATE REPORT
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Fort Collins wishes to update the
present Fort Collins/Loveland Municipal Airport Master Plan in order to
make such a plan consistent with present day needs, and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Fort Collins has caused to be
prepared an update of said plan, and
WHEREAS, the Fort Collins/Loveland Municipal Airport Master Plan
update has been favorably reviewed by the F A A , and
WHEREAS, the recommendations contained within said update have been
favorably reviewed by the Airport Ad Hoc Committee with one exception, said
exception being the recommended zoning change, and
WHEREAS, the Airport Ad Hoc Committee has rejected the recommended
zoning change contained within said update due to the costliness of said
change to the cities
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS as follows
Section 1 That the recommendations contained within the Airport
Master Plan Update Report with the exception of the recommended zoning
change be, and they hereby are, adopted by the Council of the City of Fort
Collins
Section 2 That the recommendation contained within the Airport
Master Plan Update Report pertaining to the rezoning of that area adjacent
to Boyd Lake be, and it hereby is, deleted
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council o the City of
Fort Collins this 21st day of October , 980 1P
