OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
APPROVING AN AGPEEMENT TO BE ENTERED INTO WITH
THE HUMANE SOCIETY FOR LARIMER COUNTY
WHEREAS, the City has entered into previous agreements with the Humane
Society for Larimer County for the purpose of maintaining the City' s animal
shelter at the animal shelter owned and operated by the Humane Society for
Larimet County, and
WHEREAS, the City desires that the Humane Society for Larimer County
continue to maintain the City' s animal shelter in its facility, and
WHEREAS, an agreement has been prepared containing the same provisions
as adopted in previous agreements with the Humane Society, and
WHEREAS, said agreement provides for the maintenance of the City' s
animal snelter by the Humane Society for Larimer County, which agreement
has been approved by the City Manager and the City Attorney, and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to approve and adopt said agreement
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that the terms and conditions of the proposed agreement between the
City of Fort Collins and the Humane Society for Larimer County, providing
for the maintenance of an animal shelter for the City by the Humane Society
for Larimer County be, and the same hereby are, accepted and approved
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager and City Clerk be, and
they hereby are, authorized and directed to execute said agreement for and
on behalf of the City of Fort Collins
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of the City of
Fort Collins held this 16th day of aeqember , 1980
