OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
AUTHORIZING THE CITY TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT
WITH COLORADO STATE UNIVERSITY
DEPARTMENT OF MICROBIOLOGY FOR WATER TESTING
WHEREAS, State primary drinking water regulations require minimum
water testing for different water systems located within the Fort Collins
area, and
WHEREAS, the water system serving the Colorado State University should
be considered a separate water system for testing requirements, and
WHEREAS, it is in the interest of the City of Fort Collins that
testing be accomplished at Colorado State University since the City of Fort
Collins supplies water to that facility, and
WHEREAS, the City did, on July 17, 1979, enter into a similar agree-
ment with Colorado State University, the term of which will expire on
December 31, 1980
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that the City Manager be, and he hereby is, authorized and directed
to enter into an agreement with Colorado State University under the terms
of which the University would perform water testing in accordance with
State requirements for the period January 1, 1981, through December 31,
1982, for a sum not to exceed Three Thousand Three Dollars ($3,003 00)
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of the City of
Fort Collins held this 16th day of Dece e 1980
