OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
APPROVING A WIRE LINE PERMIT FROM BURLINGTON
NORTHERN RAILROAD FOR 6 18 MILES OF POWERLINE
WHEREAS, pursuant to the Facilities Transfer Agreement between the
City and Poudre Valley REA, it is necessary for the City to provide elec-
trical service to new and existing developments in the recently annexed
lands in the Urban Growth Area, and_
WHEREAS, provision of said service would be possible upon acquisition
by the City of an existing 44kv electrical transmission line currently
owned by the Public Service Company of Colorado, and
WHEREAS, acquisition of said transmission line is contingent upon the
City's acquiring a Wire Occupancy Permit from the Burlington Northern
Railroad
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that a wire line permit from the Burlington Northern Railroad for
6 18 miles of powerline to be purchased by the City of Fort Collins be, and
the same hereby is, approved
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council held this
3rd day of May , A D 1983
