OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
CHANGING THE NAME OF THE NORTHSIDE COMMUNITY
CENTER TO THE NORTHSIDE AZTLAN COMMUNITY CENTER
WHEREAS, on April 5 a group of northside area citizens appeared before
Council to request a change of name of the Northside Community Center to
the Fort Collins Aztlan Center, and
WHEREAS, on April 5 the City Council referred the request to the Parks
and Recreation Advisory Board for their recommendation, and
WHEREAS, on April 26 the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board voted
unanimously to recommend to Council that the name of the Northside Com-
munity Center be changed to the Northside Aztlan Community Center
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS, COLORADO, that the name of the Northside Community Center be
changed to the Northside Aztlan Community Center
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council held this
3rd day of May, A D 1983
