OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
PERTAINING TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF A PUBLIC
PARKING STRUCTURE
WHEREAS, the Fort Collins Downtown Development Authority has entered
into an agreement with Old Town Associates, Ltd , and
WHEREAS, such agreement provides for participation by the Downtown
Development Authority which includes the construction of 300 parking
spaces near the Old Town project and for use by the general public,
and
WHEREAS, the Downtown Development Authority has agreed to provide the
300 parking spaces in a structure located at the southeast corner of
Mountain Avenue and Remington Street, and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Fart Collins approved the location
of a parking structure at the southeast corner of Mountain Avenue and
Remington Street in Resolution 83-100
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS, that the City Council concurs with the concept for the development
of a public parking structure at the southeast corner of Mountain Avenue
and Remington Street and encourages the Downtown Development Authority to
pursue such development
