OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
APPROVING A FEASIBILTY STUDY TO EXAMINE THE
CONCEPT OF A DOWNTOWN HOTEL/CONVENTION CENTER
WHEREAS, it has long been the desire of the City of Fort Collins to
have a downtown hotel and convention center, and
WHEREAS, the Fort Collins Downtown Development Authority has desired
to enter into a contractual agreement with a developer of a downtown hotel
and convention center, and
WHEREAS, this contractual agreement requires the development of a
feasibility study and the completion of certain related engineering ser-
vices prior to proceeding with the project
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS, that to encourage the development of a downtown hotel and conven-
tion center which will be beneficial to the community as a whole, it
hereby approves a study and the conducting of related engineering services
to determine the feasibility of a downtown hotel and convention center
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council held this
