OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
APPROVING THE DOWNTOWN TRAFFIC AND CIRCULATION PLAN
AND ADOPTING REVISIONS TO THE MASTER STREET PLAN
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Fort Collins has approved and
established a Master Street Plan, which plan delineates transportation
corridors within the Urban Growth Area for functional classifications
of streets; and
WHEREAS, the Council has determined that certain revisions to said
plan as it relates to traffic circulation in the Downtown Fort Collins area
are necessary, desirable, and in the best interest of the City; and
WHEREAS, the Council has reviewed the final report of the Downtown
Traffic and Circulation Plan and desires to approve and accept portions of
the same for incorporation into the City' s Master Street Plan; and
WHEREAS, inasmuch- as a neighborhood planning process has just been
initiated on the fringe of the Downtown Study area, recommendation con-
cerning this fringe area (The Mulberry Street/Magnolia Street One-Way
Couplet and Whedbee Street) should be delayed six months to allow for
neighborhood analysis and review.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that the revisions to the Master Street Plan as defined by the
Recommended Plan of the Downtown Traffic and Circulation Study (except for
the Mulberry Street/Magnolia Street One-Way Couplet and Whedbee Street) be,
and the same hereby are, approved, and adopted and incorporated into the
Master Street Plan of the City.
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council held this
15th day of May, A.D. 1984.
