OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
AUTHORIZING APPLICATION TO NORTHERN COLORADO
WATER CONSERVANCY DISTRICT FOR CANCELLATION
OF TEMPORARY USE PERMITS
WHEREAS, the City of Fort Collins holds 745 acre-foot units of CBT water
under Temporary Use Permits with the Northern Colorado Water Conservancy District
(the "NCWCD") ; and
WHEREAS, the NCWCD requires that all water held under Temporary Use Permits
be converted to a permanent Class B Contract every several years; and
WHEREAS, the City of Fort Collins desires to convert the 745 acre-foot
units of CBT water to use under a permanent allotment contract.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
that the Mayor be and is hereby authorized to apply to the NCWCD for cancellation
of the Temporary Use Permits for the Seven Hundred Forty-five (745) acre-foot
units of CBT water in order for the City to convert such water to use under a
permanent allotment contract with the NCWCD.
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of the City of Fort
Collins held this 2nd day of February, A.D. 1993.
