OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO
AN INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT
WITH COLORADO STATE UNIVERSITY
FOR THE PROVISION OF WATER TESTING
WHEREAS, Colorado primary drinking water regulations require minimum water
testing for the various potable water systems located within the Fort Collins
area; and
WHEREAS, the water system serving Colorado State University should be
considered a separate water system for testing requirements; and
WHEREAS, it is in the interest of the City of Fort Collins that testing
be accomplished at Colorado State University since the City of Fort Collins
supplies potable water to that facility; and
WHEREAS, the City did, on February 28, 1989, enter into a similar agreement
with Colorado State University, the term of which expired on December 31 , 1990.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
that the Mayor be, and she hereby is, authorized to enter into an agreement with
Colorado State University for the continuation of the program whereby the
University would perform campus drinking water testing for the period January
1, 1991 through December 31, 1992. The University shall perform this testing
in consideration of the payment by the City of a sum not to exceed Two Thousand
Nine Hundred and Fifty Dollars ($2,950) for the period January 1 , 1991 through
December 31, 1991 , and for a sum not to exceed Two Thousand Nine Hundred and
Ninety Dollars ($2,990) for the period January 1 , 1992 through December 31, 1992.
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of the City of Fort
Collins held this 19th day of February, A.D. �11/9A91,. -
