HomeMy WebLinkAbout1992-110-07/07/1992-COMPENSATION ELECTION JUDGES RESOLUTION 92- 110 OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS SETTING THE COMPENSATION FOR JUDGES OF MUNICIPAL ELECTIONS WHEREAS, municipal election judges perform a valuable public service in conducting the election process at each polling place; and WHEREAS, Section 7-42 of the Code of the City of Fort Collins provides that judges of elections shall receive compensation for their services in an amount established by the City Council by resolution; and WHEREAS, rates of compensation for election judges in Larimer County have been recently reviewed; and WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to provide a competitive rate of compensation for this service. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS as follows: Section 1 . The compensation for judges selected in each precinct to deliver the election returns, registration book, and other election papers and supplies to the City Clerk shall be increased from Sixty Dollars (b60) to Seventy-Five Dollars (E75) per election. Section 2. The compensation for all other municipal election judges shall be increased from Fifty-Five Dollars ($55) to Sixty-Five Dollars ($65) per election.
