HomeMy WebLinkAbout1985-066-04/16/1985-AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO AN INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT WITH LARIMER COUNTY FOR THE SHARE 0 RESOLUTION 85- 66 OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO AN INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT WITH LARIMER COUNTY FOR THE SHARED USE OF A PHOTOGRAPHIC LABORATORY WHEREAS, due to limited availability of space and economic concerns addressed during the remodeling of the Old Municipal Building, the Police Department of the City of Fort Collins no longer has a photographic lab available for processing film used for law enforcement purposes; and WHEREAS, the Larimer County Sheriff's Department has a fairly complete photographic lab that has the capability for black and white and color film processing; and WHEREAS, Larimer County is willing to enter into an agreement concern- ing the shared use of the photographic laboratory; and WHEREAS, it is in the interests of the citizens of the City of Fort Collins that the City enter into such an agreement rather than building and equipping a comparable photographic lab. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS that the Mayor be, and hereby is, authorized to enter into an Intergovernmental Agreement with Larimer County concerning the shared use of a photographic laboratory which Agreement provides for the sharing of equipment and supplies.
