OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
ESTABLISHING A CORPORATE MEMBERSHIP IN
THE INTERNATIONAL COUNCIL FOR LOCAL ENVIRONMENTAL INITIATIVES
WHEREAS, the 1991-93 Council Work Plan includes an item relating to City
Memberships in Outside Organizations; and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Fort Collins wishes to establish a
corporate membership in the International Council for Local Environmental
Initiatives (I.C.L.E. I. ) so the City may utilize the services and benefits of
I .C.L.E. I . for the public purpose of developing solutions to environmental
problems and;
WHEREAS, Resolution 91-135 establishes the policy of the Council of the
City of Fort Collins with regard to corporate memberships in outside
organizations and the corporate membership in I.C.L.E.I . is consistent with this
policy and;
WHEREAS, corporate memberships serve a bona fide public purpose by
providing information and opportunities to City staff to improve the quality of
services provided by the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
that the City shall establish a corporate membership in the International Council
for Local Environmental Initiatives (I .C.L.E. I. ) .
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of the City of Fort
Collins held this 16th day of February, A.D. 1993.
