OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
ADOPTING AN UPDATED TRANSPORTATION DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM
FOR THE CALENDAR YEAR 1989
WHEREAS, pursuant to the Urban Mass Transportation Act of 1964, as
amended, the City of Fort Collins is required to adopt a comprehensive
procram for the development and extension of mass transit programs; and
WHEREAS, in compliance with said Act, the City has adopted a
Transportation Development Program for the period 1986 through 1990; and
WHEREAS, in order to remain eligible to receive federal funding
assistance, the City is required to annually update its Transportation
Development Program; and
WHEREAS, it is intended that the Program Document serve as a planning
document and, as such, should be considered as being conceptual and subject
to amendment as conditions change; and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Fort Collins has determined that
the Transportation Development Program, as currently drafted, best
addresses the transportation needs and concerns of the City of Fort Collins
and the surrounding community.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that the Transportation Development Program for 1986-1990 be, and
hereby is, adopted.
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council held this
15th day of November, 1988. 7
