AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO
A SOLE SOURCE LEASE FOR COMPUTER MEMORY
WHEREAS, the City is need of additional memory capacity for the Sperry
Mainframe Computer in order to support the additional computer programs
developed and installed during 1983 and 1984; and
WHEREAS, such memory capacity is available only from Sperry Corpora-
tion; and
WHEREAS, the City has negotiated a lease price for said memory capa-
city, including maintenance, at a price lower than that offered on the
Colorado State and Local Government Pricing Agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that the City Manager be, and he hereby is, authorized to enter
into a sole source lease for computer memory from the Sperry Corporation
for a period of two (2) years at a cost not to exceed Two Thousand Four
Hundred and Fifteen Dollars ($2,415.00) per month plus One Hundred and
Thirty Dollars ($130.00) per month for maintenance.
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council held this
3rd day of April , A.D. 1984.
