OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
AMENDING THE ADOPTED 1980-1984 TRANSIT
DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM
WHEREAS, pursuant to the Urban Mass Transportation Act of 1964, as
amended, the City of Fort Collins adopted a comprehensive program for the
development and extension of mass transit programs, and
WHEREAS, in cooperation with other units of government and the Lari-
mer-Weld Regional Council of Governments, the City created a Transportation
Development Program for the period 1980 through 1984; and
WHEREAS, it was intended that this document serve as a planning
document and, as such, should be considered as being conceptual and subject
to amendment as conditions change; and
WHEREAS, the Council has determined that certain revisions and exten-
sions to the Transit Development Program as it relates to the expansion of
the Transfort system are necessary, desirable, and in the best interest of
the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that the Transit Development Program, 1980-1984, be amended by the
addition of Chapter 9 expanding said program through 1985, authorizing the
purchase of office computer automation equipment, and authorizing the
replacement of two transit coaches.
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of the City of
Fort Collins held this 20th day of March, A.D. 1984.
