OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO
AN AGREEMENT WITH CARE-A-VAN TO OCCUPY
TRANSIT CENTER
WHEREAS, the City is the owner of a facility known as the "Southside
Service Center Transit Building" which is located at 6570 Portner Road
in the City of Fort Collins; and
WHEREAS, Transfort will be located in the said facility; and
WHEREAS, Care-A-Van is desirous of obtaining shop and office space in
said facility together with certain administrative services of the City;
and
WHEREAS, the City will incur various expenses in conjunction with said
occupancy; and
WHEREAS, the City is desirous of providing shop and office space and
providing administrative services to Care-A-Van; and
WHEREAS, Care-A-Van has agreed to reimburse the City $15,000 for
office and shop space and administrative services.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS approves the terms and conditions of an Agreement with Care-A-Van
for occupancy of 17,550 square feet of shop space and 1850 square feet of
office space at the Transit Center upon payment to the City of $15,000
annually.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager is hereby authorized to
execute said Agreement for and on behalf of the City of Fort Collins.
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council held this
3rd day of January, A.D. 1984.
