OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
APPOINTING A WASTEWATER MASTER PLAN
SUBCOMMITTEE OF THE CITY COUNCIL
WHEREAS, the City of Fort Collins is in the process of preparing a
Wastewater Master Plan hereinafter known as the "Plan"; and
WHEREAS, the Plan will address modifications to the existing
Wastewater Treatment Plan as may be needed to meet revised Federal
standards; and
WHEREAS, the Plan will also identify options for providing additional
wastewater treatment capacity to meet the needs of new development; and
WHEREAS, said improvements and expansion will require the issuance of
revenue bonds to finance them; and
WHEREAS, the cost of said improvements and expansion should be
equitably distributed between the monthly wastewater rates and the plant
investment fee; and
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to appoint a subcommittee to work
with representatives of the Water Board to review the issues associated
with the Wastewater Master Plan and subsequent findings.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS as follows:
Section 1. That the following Council members are appointed to a
Wastewater Master Plan subcommittee:
Ann Azari
Dave Edwards
Loren Maxey
Section 2. That the subcommittee shall review the recommended
Wastewater Master Plan improvements and funding alternatives, and the
subcommittee shall submit a report and recommendation to the full Council
by the end of March, 1990.
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council held this
17th day of October, A.D. 1989.
