OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
APPROVING COSTS AND FEES FOR THE FORT COLLINS MUNICIPAL COURT
WHEREAS, Section 1 of Article VII of the Charter of the City of Fort
Collins, Colorado, provides that rules, procedures, costs and fees for the
Municipal Court of the City of Fort Collins shall be enacted by the Council
upon recommendation of the Municipal Judge; and
WHEREAS, Municipal Judge Kathleen M. Allin has recommended the
adoption of certain costs and fees relating to cases handled in the
Municipal Court.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that the following costs and fees are hereby enacted and shall be
applicable to cases in the Municipal Court of the City of Fort Collins
unless specifically waived by the Court:
Jury Fee $25.00
Witness Fee 5.00
DNA Fee (failure to appear at 5.00
first arraignment)
Continued Case Fee 5.00
(second or subsequent con-
tinuance of arraignment date)
OJ/W Fee (outstanding judgment/ 30.00
warrant fee)
Deferral Cost 25.00
Interstate Compact Fee 30.00
Warrant Fee 25.00
Short Check Fee 15.00
Parking Boot Fee 50.00
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of the City of
Fort Collins held this 19th day of December, 1989.
