OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
ADOPTING AN UPDATED TRANSIT DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM
FOR THE CALENDAR YEAR 1991
WHEREAS, pursuant to the Urban Mass Transportation Act of 1964 ("UMTA") ,
as amended, the City of Fort Collins is required to adopt a comprehensive program
for the development and extension of mass transit programs; and
WHEREAS, in compliance with UMTA, the City has adopted a Transit
Development Program for the period 1991 through 1995; and
WHEREAS, in order to remain eligible to receive federal funding assistance,
the City is required to annually update its Transit Development Program; and
WHEREAS, it is intended that this document serve as a planning document
and, as such, should be considered as being conceptual and subject to amendment
as conditions change; and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Fort Collins has determined this plan
best addresses the transportation needs and concerns of the City of Fort Collins.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
that the Transit Development Program for 1991-1995 be, and hereby is, adopted
as amended.
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council held this 15th
day of January, 1991 .
