OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
AUTHORIZING THE CREATION OF A NEW ASSISTANT
CITY ATTORNEY POSITION
WHEREAS, the City Attorney is appointed by the City Council pursuant to the
provisions of Article VI, Section 1 of the City Charter; and
WHEREAS, the Charter further provides that Assistant and/or Deputy City
Attorneys may be appointed as determined by the Council ; and
WHEREAS, the City Attorney has recommended that an additional Assistant
City Attorney position be approved by the Council ; and
WHEREAS, funding for this position is available in the 1991 budget.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
that an additional Assistant City Attorney position be, and the same hereby is,
approved for the City Attorney's office, subject to such subsequent annual
appropriations as may be necessary to maintain adequate funding for such
position.
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of the City of Fort
Collins held this 15th day of January, A.D. 1991 .
