OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
DIRECTING THE CULTURAL RESOURCES BOARD
TO FACILITATE THE DEVELOPMENT
OF A COMMUNITY-WIDE CULTURAL PLAN
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to create a plan to help direct the
community's future cultural and artistic growth; and
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to gain the community's input and direction
to help formulate this plan; and
WHEREAS, a function of the Cultural Resources Board is to advise the City
Council on matters concerning cultural programs and the arts; and
WHEREAS, the community has received a state grant to develop a "Plan to
Plan" that will create a framework to develop this community-wide cultural plan.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
as follows:
Section 1 . The Cultural Resources Board is directed to facilitate the
development of a community-wide cultural plan.
Section 2. The funding request for this project will be presented to the
Council in the 1992 budget process.
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of the City of Fort
Collins held this 21st day of May, A.D. 1991.
