OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
PROVIDING DIRECTION TO CITY STAFF WITH
REGARD TO THE SALE OF SOUTHRIDGE GOLF COURSE
WHEREAS, the City of Fort Collins ("the City") is the owner of the
SouthRidge Golf Course ("the Course") ; and
WHEREAS, beginning in November of 1990 the City began to market the sale
of the Course; and
WHEREAS, the City recently entered into an Agreement with Accent Resources,
Inc. , to sell the Course to Accent Resources but the Agreement was terminated
by Accent Resources; and
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to provide City staff with direction on
how to proceed with regard to any future sale of the Course and in doing so
resolve for now the issue of its sale; and
WHEREAS, City Council believes that it would be in the best interests of
the City for City staff to renew efforts to market the sale of the Course upon
certain terms and conditions further described below.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
that City staff is hereby directed to renew efforts to market the sale of the
Course, with sealed proposals from potential purchasers to be opened on October
1 , 1991, and any transaction to sell the Course to occur no later than February
29, 1992; provided however, that if the Course is not sold by the City on or
before February 29, 1992, that the issue of the sale of the Course shall be
brought back to City Council for its further consideration.
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of the City of Fort
Collins held this 7th day of May, A.D. 1991 .
