OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
APPROVING THE PRELIMINARY DESIGN REPORT AND
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO PROCEED WITH
CONSTRUCTION OF THE INDOOR POOL/ICE ARENA USING
THE FAST TRACK CONSTRUCTION METHOD
BASED UPON A PROJECT BUDGET OF $8.8 MILLION DOLLARS
WHEREAS, on October 23, 1984 the City Council reviewed the Conceptual
Design Report of the Indoor Pool /Ice Arena Capital Project ; and
WHEREAS, on May 14, 1985, the City Council reviewed the Preliminary
Design Report of the Project ; and
WHEREAS, the Council has examined the Preliminary Design Report and
has determined that it is in the best interests of the City of Fort Collins
to proceed into construction and final design of the project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that the Preliminary Design Report for the Indoor Pool /Ice Arena
capital project is hereby approved and that the City Manager be, and he
hereby is, authorized to proceed with construction of said project using
the fast track construction method based upon a project budget of $8.8
million dollars and to prepare appropriate documents to issue Bond
Anticipation Notes to finance the project.
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of the City of
Fort Collins held this 21st day of May 1985.
