OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FOR COLLINS
ACCEPTING THE POSITION PROFILE FOR
RECRUITMENT OF A CITY MANAGER
WHEREAS, the City Council has hired an executive search firm to
recruit and screen applicants for the position of City Manager; and
WHEREAS, in order to define the qualifications , characteristics, and
background important for the successful candidate for this position, a
position profile will be developed by the consultant; and
WHEREAS, this position profile will represent the information on local
issues of concern and the qualifications of the successful candidate as
provided by the Council , the Citizen' s Committee and the general public;
and
WHEREAS, the Council has agreed on the important characteristics of
the new City Manager.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that the Position Profile for the position of City Manager as
presented by the search firm of Jensen-Oldani and Associates and as amended
is accepted as the official recruitment profile.
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council held this
5th day of November, A.D. 1985.
