RESOLUTION 85-176
OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
ELIMINATING DISPARITIES IN THE PAY
OF HOURLY EMPLOYEES
WHEREAS, the City of Fort Collins has a number of hourly employees who
work on a year round basis; and
WHEREAS, these employees receive lower hourly salaries and fewer
benefits than full-time city employees who work regular hours and perform
similar duties ; and
WHEREAS, the City of Fort Collins holds an equitable pay system as a
valued goal .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that the City of Fort Collins will implement a plan to eliminate
the current disparities by increasing that group's salaries by ten percent
in 1986 and, in the future, providing annual salary increases to these
employees based on the average increase for all city employees.
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of the City of
Fort Collins held this 1st day of October, A.D.,1985.
