OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF REAL PROPERTY
WHEREAS, the City is the owner of the east sixty (60) feet of Lot 9,
Block 8, Scott Sherwood Subdivision (also known as 1113 West Olive Street) ;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that such property is not used nor
intended to be used for municipal purposes, nor secured for the purpose
of being used for municipal purposes, and that it is in the best interests
of the City of Fort Collins that the same be sold; and
WHEREAS, the appraised value of said property is in the sum of $1 ,500;
and
WHEREAS, W.J . Vansant has presented an offer in excess of the ap-
praised value to the City for the purchase of said property and the Council
has determined that said property should be sold to W.J . Vansant for the
sum of $2,107.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that the east sixty (60) feet of Lot 9, Block 8, Scott Sherwood
Subdivision ( 1113 West Olive Street) be conveyed by the City to W.J .
Vansant pursuant to that agreement of sale and purchase for the purchase
price of $2,107, and that the Mayor and City Clerk shall be authorized to
execute such deeds as may be necessary to accomplish said conveyance.
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of the City
of Fort Collins held this 19th day of March, A.D. 1985.
