OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
MAKING FINDINGS RELATING TO THE APPEAL OF THE
MAPLE STREET APARTMENT R-M SITE PLAN REVIEW
WHEREAS, on the 26th day of August, 1985, the Planning and Zoning Board
of the City of Fort Collins denied final approval of the Maple Street
Apartment R-M Site Plan Review; and
WHEREAS, that decision of the Planning and Zoning Board was appealed to
the City Council by the applicant; and
WHEREAS, the City Council met on the first day of October, 1985,
considered the appeal of the Maple Street Apartment R-M Site Plan Review
and voted to sustain the decision of the Planning and Zoning Board.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS AS FOLLOWS:
1. The proposed Maple Street apartment project represents an unacceptable
level of density for an infill project at this location.
2. Traffic concerns have not been adequately addressed.
3. Adequate landscaping and buffering on the western side of the property
has not been adequately provided.
4. The decision of the Planning and Zoning Board to deny final approval of
the Maple Street Apartment R-M Site Plan Review is hereby sustained and
approval of said final plan is hereby denied.
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of the City of
Fort Collins held this 15th day of October, A.D. 1985.
