HomeMy WebLinkAbout1985-073-05/21/1985-AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH THE COLORADO DEPARTMENT OF HIGHWAYS ALL RESOLUTION 85- 73 OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH THE COLORADO DEPARTMENT OF HIGHWAYS ALLOCATING FEDERAL AID URBAN SYSTEM FUNDS TO A STREET PAVEMENT MARKING PROJECT WHEREAS, the City of Fort Collins has received notification of a Federal Aid Urban Systems (FAUS) participation for a street pavement marking project; and WHEREAS, it is stipulated that the Colorado Highway Department will coordinate the grant; and WHEREAS, the project will provide for thermoplastic crosswalks and street lane lines with major emphasis on school crosswalks; and WHEREAS, the cost for this project is expected to be $150,000 with federal participation to be $150,000 or 100% of the project; and WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the citizens of the City of Fort Collins that an agreement be entered into with the Colorado Department of Highways for this street pavement marking project. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS that the City Manager be, and he hereby is , authorized to enter into an agreement with the State of Colorado Department of Highways for the use of Federal Aid Urban Systems Funds for a street pavement marking project.
