OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
ENDORSING THE POUDRE RIVER CORRIDOR
FISHERY PROJECT PLAN OF ACTION
WHEREAS, the Poudre River Trust, the Rocky Mountain Flycasters, and
the City of Fort Collins have established the goal of enhancing the Cache
La Poudre River as it flows through Fort Collins for the purpose of
establishing a sport fishery as outlined in the Poudre River Corridor
Fishery Plan; and
WHEREAS, achievement of that goal will provide substantial aesthetic,
recreational , and environmental quality benefits to the citizens of Fort
Collins; and
WHEREAS, representatives of the City of Fort Collins have participated
in the development of the Poudre River Corridor Fishery Project Plan of
Action and have found the Plan of Action to be complete and technically
sound.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that the Poudre River Corridor Fishery Project Plan of Action and
the participation of representatives of the City in the Poudre River
Corridor Committee efforts to implement the Plan of Action be and hereby
are endorsed.
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of the City of
Fort Collins held this 7th day of February, A. 89.
