OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO
AN AGREEMENT WITH THE STATE BOARD OF
AGRICULTURE BY AND THROUGH THE EXECUTIVE
BRANCH OF THE ASSOCIATED STUDENTS OF COLORADO
STATE UNIVERSITY FOR THE PURPOSE OF PROVIDING
TRANSFORT SERVICES
WHEREAS, pursuant to prior contracts the City will provide Transfort
services to the student body of Colorado State University to January 20,
1989; and
WHEREAS, the City and the Associated Students of Colorado State
University have successfully negotiated an agreement which contains the
provisions set out more particularly below.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that the Mayor be, and hereby is, authorized to enter into an
agreement with the State Board of Agriculture by and through the Executive
Branch of the Associated Students of Colorado State University, for the
purposes of providing Transfort service from January 20, 1989, through
January 19, 1990. The terms of said agreement shall include the following
provisions:
1 . The City shall provide Transfort services from January 20, 1989,
through January 19, 1990, with an option to renew for one year.
2. The Associated Students of Colorado State University shall pay
the City the sum of Three Dollars and Sixty Cents ($3.60) per
semester for each full -time, fee-paying student. In addition,
the Office of International Training Programs (OTIP) will pay
Three Dollars and Sixty Cents ($3.60) per student per semester
for international students enrolled in their program.
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council held this
3rd day of January, 1989.
