OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
AUTHORIZING ADJUSTMENTS
TO THE FARES CHARGED TO PATRONS OF THE
TRANSFORT BUS SYSTEM
WHEREAS, Transfort fares have not increased substantially since January
1985; and
WHEREAS, during the development of the Transit Development Program 1991-
1995, citizens expressed a strong willingness to pay increased fares in exchange
for increased service levels; and
WHEREAS, the City has increased its transit service level over 52 percent
since August of 1991 ; and
WHEREAS, after notice and public hearing, the Council has determined that
it is in the best interest of the City that the fares charged to patrons of the
Transfort Bus System be changed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
that Transfort fare structure as set forth on Exhibit "A, " attached hereto is
hereby approved.
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of the City of Fort
Collins held this 15th day of December, A.D. 1992.
