OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
AUTHORIZING THE LEASE OF CITY-OWNED PROPERTY
AT 945 EAST PROSPECT ROAD
WHEREAS, the City of Fort Collins is the owner of the property at 945 East
Prospect Road, which is more particularly described on Exhibit "A" attached
hereto and incorporated herein by this reference ("the Property") ; and
WHEREAS, the City purchased the Property for a capital project to be
constructed at a later date, and the house on the property is currently vacant;

WHEREAS, under Section 23-114 of the Code of the City of Fort Collins, the
Council is authorized to lease any and all interests in real property owned in
the name of the City, provided that Council first finds that the lease is in the
best interests of the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
as follows:
Section 1 . That the lease of the Property to Patricia Kelly for a term of
one (1) year, with rent in the amount of Five Hundred Fifty Dollars ($550) per
month, is in the best interests of the City of Fort Collins.
Section 2. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a lease
agreement for the Property on the terms and conditions described above.
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council held this 15th
day of September, 1992.
