SUPPORTING THE APPOINTMENT OF NANCY BRIGDEN
AS A MEMBER OF THE COLORADO TRANSPORTATION COMMISSION
WHEREAS,William L. Neal is not seeking reappointment to the Colorado Transportation
Commission representing the North Front Range area of Colorado; and
WHEREAS, Nancy Brigden is an experienced and knowledgeable transportation advocate
and local elected official; and
WHEREAS,Nancy Brigden will complete 8 years of service as Mayor Pro Tern and member
of the Greeley City Council in November, 1995; has served for two years as the Chair of the North
Front Range Transportation and Air Quality Planning Council; and has served for two years as the
North Front Range representative on the Statewide Transportation Advisory Committee; and
WHEREAS, Nancy Brigden is a small business owner in Greeley, Colorado; and
WHEREAS, Nancy Brigden is a strong advocate of multi-modal transportation needs in
Colorado; and
WHEREAS, Nancy Brigden has proven herself as a respected representative and
spokesperson of multi-jurisdictional interests in northern Colorado.
NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS, that the City of Fort Collins endorses and encourages the appointment of NANCY
BRIGDEN as the Colorado Transportation Commissioner representing the North Front Range area
of Colorado.
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Coun4ofTe City of Fort Coll' s held this
3rd day of October, A.D. 1995.
