HomeMy WebLinkAbout1986-069-04/15/1986-ANNEX AREAS CHADWICK CITY INTENT CONCRETE PRODUCTS COMPANY MOUNTAIN VIEW SKYLINE ACRES SPRINGFIELD T RESOLUTION 86-69 OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS SETTING FORTH THE INTENT OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS TO ANNEX CERTAIN AREAS TO THE CITY WHEREAS, the properties hereinafter described have, for more than three (3) years prior to this date, been entirely contained within the boundaries of the City of Fort Collins ; and WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Fort Collins has determined that it is in the best interests of the citizens of the City of Fort Collins to annex said areas to the City , as required by the terms of the Intergovernmental Agreement between the City and Larimer County, Colorado, dated August 3, 1983. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS as follows: Section 1. That the Council of the City of Fort Collins hereby sets forth its intent to annex the following described properties situate in the County of Larimer, State of Colorado, to-wit: SPRINGFIELD ANNEXATION NO. 2 A tract of land situated in the NW 1/4, Section 35, Township 7 North, Range 69 West, of the 6th P.M. , Larimer County, State of Colorado. Considering the West line of the NW /14 of said Section 35 as bearing N 00°00'00" E, and with all bearings contained herein relative thereto: Commencing at the West 1/4 corner of Section 35, said point also being the True Point of Beginning; thence, along said West line N 00°00'00" E, for 312.00 feet to the most northern point of the tract; thence, leaving said section line S 89°53'00" E, 558.46 feet; thence, S 00°00'00" W, 312.00 feet; thence, N 89°53'00" W, 558.46 feet to the True Point of Beginning. The above described tract contains 4.00 + acres. WICKES ANNEXATION A tract of land situated in Section 35, Township 7 North, Range 69 West of the 6th P.M. , Larimer County, Colorado. Considering the South line of Section 35 as bearing N 89°53' 00" W and all bearings contained herein relative thereto: Commencing at the SE corner of said section 35; thence N 89°53'00" W 569.66 feet; thence N 01°00'00" E 30.00 feet to the True Point of Beginning; thence N 01°00'00" E 501.03 feet; thence N 89°53'13" W 436.88 feet; thence S 01°00'00" W 501.00 feet; thence S 89°53'00" E 436.88 feet to the True Point of Beginning, containing 5.025 acres more or less. CONCRETE PRODUCTS COMPANY ANNEXATION A tract of land situated in the NW 1/4 of Section 11, Township 7 North, Range 69 West , of the 6th P.M. , Larimer County, Colorado, considering the North line of said Section 11 as bearing N 90000'00" E, and all bearings contained herein relative thereto: Commencing at the NW corner of said Section 11; thence N 90°00'00" E 1367.80 feet to the True Point of Beginning; thence S 00°00'00" E 450.00 feet; thence N 89°19'20" E 1280.09 feet; thence N 00°00'00" W 434.86 feet; thence N 90°00'00" W 194.90 feet; thence S 01°36' 30" W 372.38 feet; thence N 65°25'00" W 894.75 feet; thence N 90°00'00" W 261.00 feet to the True Point of Beginning. The above described tract contains 9.48 acres more or less. SKYLINE ACRES ANNEXATION A tract of land situated in the NW 1/4 of Section 34, Township 7 North, Range 69 West, of the 6th P.M., Larimer County, Colorado. Considering the North line of Section 34, as bearing N 89°44' 12" W and all bearings contained herein relative thereto: Commencing at the NE corner of said Section 34, being the True Point of Beginning, thence S 00°01' 12" E 1326.67 feet; thence N 89°49'45" W 1320.25 feet; thence N 00°02'00" W 1328.81 feet; thence S 89044' 12" E 1320.56 feet to the True Point of Beginning, containing 38.47 acres more or less. CHADWICK ANNEXATION A tract of land situated in the SE 1/4 of Section 31, Township 7 North, Range 68 West, of the 6th P.M. , Larimer County, Colorado. Considering the East line of said Section 31 as bearing N 00°04'44" E, and all bearings contained herein relative thereto: Commencing at the SE corner of said section 31; thence N 00°04'44" E 1935.77 feet to the True Point of Beginning; thence N 00004'44" E 432.00 feet; thence N 89°55'36" W 417.55 feet; thence S 54°29' 24" W 145.22 feet; thence S 56°57'06" E 638.46 feet to the True Point of Beginning. The above described tract contains 3.00 acres more or less. THOMAS ANNEXATION A tract of land situated in the NE 1/4 of Section 1, Township 7 North, Range 69 West of the 6th P.M. , Larimer County, Colorado. Considering the East line of said Section 1 as bearing S 00°04' 13" E and all bearings contained herein relative thereto: Commencing at the Northeast corner of said Section 1; thence S 00°04'13" E 1314.24 feet to the True Point of Beginning; thence N 89°33'43" W 447.42 feet ; thence S 00°04' 13" E 413.52 feet; thence S 89°02'43" E 447.47 feet; thence N 00004' 13" W 417.55 feet to the True Point of Beginning. The above described tract contains 4.289 acres more or less. WEBSTER ANNEXATION A tract of land situated in the SW 1/4 of Section 26, Township 7 North, Range 69 West, of the 6th P.M., Larimer County, Colorado. Considering the West line of the SW 1/4 of said Section 26 as bearing N 00°27' 30" W, and with all bearings contained herein relative thereto: Commencing at the Southwest corner of Section 26, thence N 00°21 ' 30" W 452.00 feet; thence N 89°32' 30" E 30.00 feet to the True Point of Beginning; thence N 89°32' 30" E 187.80 feet; thence N 00°27' 30" W 200.00 feet; thence S 89°32'30" W 187.80 feet; thence S 00°27' 30" E 200.00 feet to the True Point of Beginning. The above described tract contains .862 acres more or less. WESTERN AREA POWER ANNEXATION A tract of land situated in the NE 1/4 of Section 1, Township 7 North, Range 69 West, of the 6th P.M. , Larimer County, Colorado. Considering the East line of the NE 1/4 of said Section 1 as bearing S 00°00' 23" E, and all bearings contained herein relative thereto: Commencing at the North 1/4 corner of said Section 1; thence S 00°00'23" E 2069.96 feet; thence S 89°44'22" W 6.00 feet to the True Point of Beginning; thence S 00°00'23" E 529.40 feet; thence S 89°44'22" E 118.00 feet; thence N 00000'23" W 529.40 feet; thence N 89°44'22" W 118.00 feet to the True Point of Beginning. The above described tract contains 1.434 acres more or less. MOUNTAIN VIEW ANNEXATION A tract of land situated in Section 27, Township 7 North, Range 69 West, of the 6th P.M. , Larimer County, Colorado. Considering the East line of said Section 27 as bearing N 00°04' 51" E and all bearings contained herein relative thereto: Commencing at the NE corner of said Section 27, thence South along the East section line S 00°04'51" W 994.27 feet to the True Point of Beginning, thence N 89°29' 16" W 264.00 feet; thence S 00004' 51" W 132.27 feet ; thence S 89029' 16" E 264.00 feet; thence N 00004'51" E 132.27 feet to the True Point of Beginning, containing 0.8 acres more or less. 2. That the notice attached hereto be adopted as a part of this resolution. Said notice establishes the date, time and place when a public hearing will be held regarding the passage of an annexation ordinance pertaining to the above described properties. The City Clerk is directed to publish a copy of this resolution and said notice as provided in C.R.S., §31-12-108(2) . Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of the City of Fort Collins held this 15th day of April , A.D. 1986. Mayor ATTEST: City Clerk NOTICE TO ALL PERSONS INTERESTED: PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Council of the City of Fort Collins has adopted a resolution of intent to annex certain real properties more particularly described in said resolution, a copy of which precedes this notice. THAT for more than three (3) years more than two-thirds (2/3) of the boundary of said territory has been contiguous with the boundary of the City of Fort Collins. THAT on May 20, 1986, at the hour of 6:30 P.M. , or as soon thereafter as the matter may come up for hearing before the City Council in the Council Chambers in the City Hall of the City of Fort Collins at 300 Laporte Avenue, Fort Collins, Colorado, the City Council will hold a hearing upon said resolution for the purpose of determining and finding whether said territories proposed to be annexed meet the applicable requirements of Colorado law and are eligible for annexation. At such hearing, any person living within the areas proposed to be annexed and any landowner of lands therein, and any resident of the City of Fort Collins, and all other interested persons may appear and present such evidence as they may desire.
