. OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
ACCEPTING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE
TASK FORCE ON WOMEN'S ISSUES
WHEREAS, the City Council created the Fort Collins Task Force on
Women's Issues in December of 1984; and
WHEREAS, the Task Force on Women's Issues was directed by the City
Council to investigate issues of concern to women in the community for one
year; and
WHEREAS, the Task Force on Women's Issues completed a report to the
City Council which documents said issues; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is concerned about the issues raised by the
Task Force on Women's Issues in its report, and will carefully consider the
recommendations contained therein; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is committed to providing equal access and
opportunities to all residents regardless of gender.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that the report from the Fort Collins Task Force on Women's Issues
be accepted, and that the members of the Task Force be gratefully
acknowledged for their work in completing this project.
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council held this
4th day of March, A.D. 1986.
