OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ASSIGN THE USE OF FIVE
PUBLIC UTILITY EASEMENTS TO PUBLIC SERVICE COMPANY
OF COLORADO FOR THE INSTALLATION OF NATURAL GAS LINES
WHEREAS, the City of Fort Collins obtained five easements for the
purpose of installing utilities to serve the Anheuser-Busch brewery site
and surrounding area; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor of the City of Fort Collins may assign the use of
said easements to utility companies serving the designated area; and
WHEREAS, Public Service Company of Colorado has requested that the
City assign it the right to use a portion of these easements for the
installation of natural gas lines; and
WHEREAS, Public Service Company of Colorado has agreed to reimburse
the Light and Power Utility for all costs incurred in obtaining a portion
of these easements, which cost has been determined to be Eight Thousand
Seven Hundred Ninety-Nine Dollars and Fifty Cents ($8,799.50) .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that the Mayor be, and he hereby is, authorized to assign to Public
Service Company of Colorado the use of the western nine feet (9' ) of the
five (5) fifteen foot (15' ) wide utility easements obtained for the purpose
of installing utilities to serve the Anheuser-Busch brewery and surrounding
area.
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of the City of
Fort Collins held this 18th day of November, A.D. 1986.
