OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
APPOINTING A COUNCIL UTILITY COMMITTEE
WHEREAS, the Water Utility Rules and Regulations for Service and the
Electric Service Rules and Regulations of the City contaircertain
procedures to be followed by the City in the event of th impending
termination of utility services for nonpayment of charges t7he
or; and
WHEREAS, the City has notified the owners, tenants anher parties
holding an interest of record in certain premises within ; City of the
City's intention to disconnect utility services to sai premises unless
unpaid charges for utility services previously delivered to said premises
have been paid on or before October 17, 1986; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to the above-mentioned regul tions, the customer to
whom such services have been delivered has the right to make a protest to a
Council Utility Committee if a request for hear' g is filed prior to the
proposed termination date; and //
WHEREAS, the Court-appointed receiver f�6r such premises has filed a
request for such a hearing with the City Cleik on October 15, 1986; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to appojXIt members to a Council Utility
Committee in order to provide a hearing in this matter as provided by the
above-mentioned regulations.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLV / BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that Rich Shannon, Dire or of Utility Services, Alan Krcmarik,
Acting Director of Finance, an Peter Dallow, Director of Administrative
Services, are hereby appointed to serve as a Council Utility Committee and
are hereby authorized to mee and determine whether all or any portion of
the utility services pres tly being delivered to the above-mentioned
premises shall be termin ed for nonpayment of utility charges. Such
hearing shall be held in a Council Chambers of the City Hall , 300 LaPorte
Avenue, on Wednesday, Oc ober 22, 1986, at 3:30 PM.
Passed and adop d at a regular meeting of the Council of the City of
Fort Collins held t4ls, 21st day of October, A.D. 1986.
